Born in San Diego, California, Ron joined the U.S. Navy in 1985. His service spanned 3 different decades and included deployments that supported The Gulf War, War in Afghanistan, and Operation Enduring Freedom. He retired after 20 years of service in May 2005.
Ron loved hunting, fishing, camping, riding ATV’s, cooking, listening to music and found a new love of gardening but most of all he loved his time with family and friends and always being there for anyone in need.
Left to cherish the memories are his wife of 23 years, Nicole Lynn Keller, and his son, Chase Donovan Keller, along with his mother-in-law Suzanne Freeman, 2 Sisters Christy LaVarnway, Michelle Welch and countless family and friends.
Ron was loved by all who knew him. His unwavering support, benevolent demeanor, and ever prevalent sense of humor left no strangers in his path. He will be sorely missed, but left us all with no shortage of the memories created with him, he will never be forgotten by his family and friends.
A celebration of life is set to be scheduled at a later date.
