Mr. Richards was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Grace Richards. He retired as a Chief Petty Offer from the U.S. Navy after twenty years of service and was a disabled American veteran.
Survivors include his loving wife Sheila Richards; his children Christopher Michael Dunagan (Tracy), Jonathan Mark Dunagan and son by choice, Michael Jeffers (Kim) and their child Megan; grandchildren Hailey Alexis Dunagan and Chloe Callahan; a brother Edward Richards (Lois) and a sister Pamela Richards (Tina) and a sister-in-law Timberly Canfield (Michael) and their children Bailey, Bryce and Brook. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at Calvary Chapel, 5228 Indian River Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23464 on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.
