Her life was a quiet testament to grace, kindness, and unwavering support. She touched others with her warm heart, her gentle spirit, and the way she always seemed to know when someone needed comfort or help. Joanne had a way of collecting people that needed a friend. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and a friend to so many and will be dearly missed. Joanne was a high performing realtor for decades, instilling the love for the business in multiple family members whom will carry her legacy in the industry forward. She was an active member of St. Michael Lutheran Church and loved cooking for her family and binging a TV show. She joins her late husband, David Taylor, a retired master chief in the Navy. Many would call Joanne one of the most generous and kind people they’ve ever met. She was 89 years old.
Joanne is survived by her children, Scott, Shelly, Larry and Mark, and her grandchildren Kyle, Sarah, Brittney, and Quinn. She also leaves behind three sisters, Barbara, Patricia, and Nancy.
A celebration of life is being planned for mid-January with more details to come from her family
