Pat spent his working years as a radiology technician, CT technician, department manager, implementing teleradiology when it was brand new technology, and as a traveling rad tech helping departments all over the country.
Above anything else, Pat was a husband, a father, and a friend. He loved to travel with his wife and raised his children to be caring humans, able to help themselves and others through a strong work ethic and a hefty dose of creativity. He coached soccer and cheered fervently from the stands of the hockey arena. He showed up in every way for the people he loved, including his friends that are more like family. He could fix anything with duct tape and was never short on ideas on how to make things work with what was already on hand.
Pat was preceded in death by his parents George and Donna Marie; his in-laws Eugene H. and Mary Helen Wells; his brother, George E. Koerner, Jr and sister-in-law Marilyn Koerner; his sister Ann Zorn; and his sister Kathy Bradley. He is survived by the love of his life, Sandy; his son, Christopher “Kit” Koerner; daughter, Cali (Bryan) Morrison; his granddaughters Bryce and Portia Morrison; his brother-in-law Donny Zorn, his sister-in-law Christy Wells, and many cherished cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. As well as his extended friend-family, the McCandless family.
Per Pat’s wishes, services will not be held. Share a memory, raise a rum and coke, and hug your loved ones. Live long and prosper.
