

He was born in Brooklyn, NY on April 2, 1943.
He was a graduate of Wesleyan University, Middletown, CT in 1964 and Albany Medical College, Albany, NY in 1970. He served in the US Navy from 1971-1976. He was an Obstetrician-Gynecologist in private practice for over 20 years Winter Park, FL as well as Lake County, FL for the last 15 years of his career. He retired in 2014. His hobbies included golf, baseball and the love of all sports. He wrote and published the book Baseball & Babies-- My Life as a Catcher.
He was a member of the American College of Ob/Gyns, various Medical Societies and organizations throughout his career. He was a member of Lifeponte Church Eustis, FL.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Manos; sons, Peter and John Manos of Altamonte Springs, FL and daughter Jennifer Manos Collet of Lake Mary, FL; stepdaughter Kelley Morris (Justin) of Spanish Fort, AL.; stepson Brandon Dudley (Amanda) of Lugoff, SC; step granddaughters Brianna & Jade Morris of Spanish Fort, AL and Charlotte Dudley of Lugoff, SC; sister Marie Maruskanic (Tom) of New Jersey; niece Janeen Strenk (Patrick) of Reno, NV; nephew John Maruskanic (Pam) of Mims, FL; cousins James Manos and Lynda Manos-Verias and their families, as well as former spouse Kathy Jenner Manos.
He was preceded in death by his father Manual Manos and mother Frida Forakis Manos.
A celebration of life will be held at Lifepointe Church 3551 E. Orange Ave. Eustis, FL 32736 on Wednesday May 29, 2024 at 10:30 am. Interment will follow at 2:30pm at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery Mims, FL.
