Suzanne L. Fischer

Sue graduated from Richwoods High School in Peoria, and in 1960 she married Richard LeShane. They raised two wonderful children, Deborah and Richard. Sue joined Arrow Electronics where she held several administrative positions, but she enjoyed and excelled in sales, being elevated to the company’s President’s Club.

In 1988, Sue married Conrad Fischer. The family resided in Dunwoody, Georgia where they raised their son Douglas. Later, Sue and Conrad decided to fulfill a long-time dream by moving to The Villages in Florida, a lively 55+ community, in 2014.

Sue took advantage of the opportunities offered in The Villages by joining friends and participating in many of its active clubs to play cards and Mah-Jong. She and Conrad enjoyed exploring interesting destinations in their convertible BMW-Z4 or their comfortable cruising yacht. Sue also saved time for her favorite activities: spending time with her grandchildren, cooking and interior design.

Sue is survived by her husband, Conrad Fischer; her children Douglas Fischer, Deborah LeShane, and Richard LeShane; and her grandchildren Ainsley Fischer, Morgan LeShane and Daniel LeShane. She is also survived by her brother John (Cheryl) Becker and his children Emily and J.P. Sue was predeceased by her parents Paul and Dorothy Becker.

Sue will be cremated and then interred at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
