Sandra Lynn Harrison

It is with heavy hearts and grateful smiles that we celebrate the life of Sandra, who passed away peacefully in her home on May 19, 2026. Born in Chicago, Illinois, on July 27, 1944, she was the wife of her devoted husband, Henry, and the proud mother of eight children: Tracy (Lief) Cannell, Holly Garrett, Christine Fritz, Belinda (Ivaldo) Basso, Fred (Heidi) Kingsbury, Meggan (Nick Slager), Mark Harrison, and James Harrison.

In addition to her children, she leaves behind 18 grandchildren: Eli, Isaac, Rachel, Grace, Ben, Joe, Kara, David, Ivory, Hailey, Becca, Brittaney, Ashley, Roman, Enzo, Giovanni, Carson, and Phoenix; and 9 great-grandchildren: Will, Lucy, Theodore, William, Kai, Adrianna, Lilah, Lanie, Tristan, Alek, and Asher. She loved visits from her family, as well as the wonderful madness of her massive flock.

Before her retirement, Sandra spent 15 years with Southwest Airlines in ticketing. Her warmth, quick wit, and natural gift for connecting with people made her a joy to coworkers and travelers alike.

In retirement, Sandra found her paradise in The Villages. Whether she was catching up with her wonderful neighbors or making waves with her legendary, "kooky" water volleyball group, Sandra knew how to make every day feel like a celebration. She will be remembered forever for her humor, her honesty, and her fun-loving spirit.
