Ruth Ann O’Neil

She graduated from Lincoln High School in Vincennes, Indiana and worked as a banking customer service representative for most of her career.

Ruth Ann was actively involved in family gatherings, being an amazing homemaker, games, sewing and church.

She was preceded in death by her Father Julius Meier and Mother Anna Meier. Brothers Albert, Harry and Victor, and her Sister Carmen.

She was survived by her beloved Husband of 69 years, David O’Neil, Daughter Deborah, Sons David Jr., Douglas Sr., and Daniel Scott; 7 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren.

Ruth Ann was a beautiful soul and a loving person to everyone who was lucky enough to be in her presence. Always putting her family first. She will be missed greatly.

The family would like to thank Cornerstone Hospice Tavares for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in their final days.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life for Ruth Ann at Morrison United Methodist Church in Leesburg, Florida on Friday April, 24, 2026 at 11am. Visitation with the family will begin at 10:30am. Light food and refreshments will be offered afterwards at the church.
