He worked as a physician in the Navy and was stationed in Hawaii for almost a decade. After retiring from the Navy in 1992, he moved to Lompoc, California, where he worked at the federal prison penitentiary until 1996. He loved traveling, especially to tropical places, where he took many pictures of almost anything and everything he saw. He was an avid clown collector and owned over 200 pieces of Red Skelton‘s work. He was humble yet caring, willing to help others in need. His family and friends are deeply saddened by his unexpected passing.
