Richard Simpson Sr., a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and proud US Air Force veteran, passed away peacefully on April 9th, 2025. Born on December 14, 1937 in Syracuse, NY, Richard dedicated his life to service, both in the military, as a member of the Honor Guard (Lady Lake, FL) and within his community (often as Santa!), as a resident at Recreation Plantation. He enjoyed an incredible 43 years of marriage to Ursula Simpson (deceased 2018). He is survived by his children Colleen (Robert), Theresa, Richard Jr. (Barb), and Tiffany; grandchildren Seth, Eric (Ashley), Cory, Cyle, Richard (Kayla), Brandon (Laura), Kaylee (Scotty), Alexandra and Gage; great-grandchildren Alyssa, Peyton, Callie, and Charlotte, and many nieces and nephews.
