Born in Boston, Massachusetts, July 11, 1957, Pete found his calling early in the kitchen; he went on to graduate from the Johnson & Wales University culinary program in Providence, Rhode Island. He spent his life doing what he loved most, working both as a sportfish boat captain and a chef, and happiest near the water and sharing food with those around him. His passions and infectious laugh carried him through life; he loved surfing all genres of music, especially Jimmy Buffett, going to every concert he could across the United States whenever possible. He had an open, easygoing, sunny spirit and shared it generously with everyone he met.
Pete is survived by the love of his life, Janice Bonnell, and daughter’s families: April & Mike White, grandsons Damion and Orion; Joy Bonnell and grandsons Alex & Bryan Hallstrom; his sisters and their families; Pam & Jack Lonergan; Patty & Fred O'Hara; his brother, Jack Replogle; and their extended families.
Peter was an incredible person, a friend to all and deeply missed.
A Celebration of Life for Pete will be held at a later date, with details to be announced.
