Norm grew up in Worcester the son of Mildred Bloch and Benjamin Ginns. He graduated from Classical High School, and graduated from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy in June of 1964. He worked as a pharmacist for 38 years living in Worcester, Gardner and Templeton, MA. He also served as an officer in the Worcester Auxiliary Police force reaching the rank of Lieutenant.
After retiring to The Villages, FL Norm volunteered for the Lady Lake Sheriff program Seniors Against Crime and at The Villages Hospital.
Norm is survived by his wife, Candy Ginns; her sons, Nolan and Nicholas Meunier, and their families; daughter, Beth Villatico, husband Paul; son, Michael Ginns, fiancée Lisette Pedre; grandsons, Boaz and Saul Ginns; brother, Dr. Leo Ginns, wife Nancy, and their daughters.
A private memorial service will be held later this year. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Shriners Hospital in his name.
