

He attended Alexandria High School and graduated in 1960. He served in the U.S. Navy from July 12, 1960 to October 11, 1965. He served on the USS Muliphen, an attack Cargo Carrier.
Michael work for General Motors and Magna Quench as a Tool and Die Maker for 37 years. After retiring he moved to Florida where he could enjoy playing Golf year- round.
He loved Golf, Dancing and Cruising. He was involved with the Masons and American Legion.
He was preceded in death by his father James E. Keesling, mother Eva Jean Keesling and son Jeff Keesling.
He is survived by his wife of 11 years, Teresa West Keesling, and daughters Jennifer Beltz (Stephen), Tracy Mack, Sons John Keesling and Jimmy Keesling (Patti). He had 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
The family would like to sincerely thank the Compassionate Care Hospice group for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in his final days. We can’t thank all the nurses, aids and others involved in taking care of our loved one enough. They were angels sent by God to take care of Mike. We would also like to thank the National Cremation Society in handling the final details for us. Thank you to the two gentlemen that came and picked our loved on up the night of his death. They were the most caring and professional individuals.
The family and friends will be invited to attend a Celebration of Life at a later date.
