Mike was a 60+ year member of the St Paul Plumbers union local 34. He spent most of his career working through the union as Forman and Master Plumber at the facilities management at the St Paul campus of the University of Minnesota. There, with many other union colleagues, formed a family of its own.
Mikes greatest passion was golf. He was a member and official of the Minnesota Twin Cities Senior Golf League through his membership at Midland Hills Country Club until moving to The Villages in 2009, where he continued his love for the game. He was also an avid bowler.
Above all he was the neighborhood dog whisperer. Weather permitting, friends and neighbors would congregate in the driveway every evening for cocktails and comradery. Most importantly, all the dogs would come get their treats.
Private interment at Acacia Park Cemetery, 2151 Pilot Knob Road, Mendota Heights, MN 55120.
In lieu of flowers, Mike requests memorial contributions be made to the Humane Society of Sumter County, P.O. Box 67 Lake Panasoffkee, Florida 33538.
