Mary Theresa Avis, 66, of Eustis, Florida, passed away on July 13, 2026. She was born on November 28, 1959, in Fall River, Massachusetts, the daughter of the late Joseph and Laura Andrews, and brother of the late Joseph A Andrews.
In her twenties, Mary made the move from Massachusetts to Florida, and it wasn't long before she'd made it her home and built a career as a legal assistant. She didn’t leave New England behind entirely, she remained a proud and loyal fan of her home teams, especially the Patriots.
Those who knew Mary knew her as a hot ticket — someone full of life and personality who never held back. She had a gift for encouraging the people she loved to live life to the fullest, and she will be greatly missed by everyone whose life she touched.
Mary is survived by her partner, Mark, of Tampa, Florida; her two daughters, Miranda of Astatula, Florida, and Shelby of Altamonte Springs, Florida; two grandchildren, Mackenzie and Russell; her siblings, Margaret of Assonet, Massachusetts, and Anthony of Taunton, Massachusetts; and her beloved nieces, nephew, and grand-nieces and grand-nephew.
