

Margaret Adams passed away at the age of 91 on January 10, 2025. She was born in Arnold, Nebraska on February 13,1933. After completing one year of college at Nebraska Wesleyan University, Margaret worked as a telephone operator until she met her husband Oneal Adams. They were married in 1953. Together they had four children. After living in 6 different states her family settled in Miami, Florida where she had a career of over 20 years at AT&T. Upon retirement Margaret and Oneal moved into the Highland Lakes community in Leesburg Florida.
Throughout Margaret’s life she was involved in many organizations. She was an active member of Eastern Star and traveled as one of their Fan Dancers. During her membership of Daughter’s of the Nile she served as Queen. After moving to Highland Lakes community, she continued community involvement by becoming a member the Highland Lakes Choral group. She performed in several musical shows and starred as Cinderella in the musical rendition of Cinderella. She organized several fashion shows raising money for the Highland Choral group. She was also an active member of DAR volunteering her time to support veterans. She volunteered at the Community Medical Care Center in Leesburg for almost 20 years.
Margaret’s hobbies consist of playing cards and games with friends and family, completing word puzzles, reading novels and being everyone’s thoughtful friend. Margaret did not know a stranger.
Margaret is survived by her son Thomas Adams (Nancy), daughter Christie Adams, daughter-in-law Linda Adams, grandson Rohn Adams (Deb), granddaughter Ann Marie Parsons (Justin), granddaughter Mary Catherine Adams and great grandson Aidan Parsons.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Oneal Adams, son John Adams, and son Rohn Adams.
