Linda Jane Williams

She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Williams; sons, Chris (Teresa) Pfefferkorn, Eric (Rebecca) Pfefferkorn; daughter, Heidi (Jeff) Voelcker; grandchildren Halie Pfefferkorn, Hunter Pfefferkorn and Henry Voelcker; sister Nancy Godlewski and many other loving relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Heather Pfefferkorn.

Linda was fortunate enough to live in multiple places throughout her life and had wonderful friendships from Ohio, Illinois, to North Carolina, Alabama, New York and finally in Florida. She graduated from Eureka College in Eureka, Illinois with a degree in Sociology. Linda spent years as a dedicated social worker and adoption specialist with the Gladney Center. Linda’s joy came from spending time with her husband and family, decorating for the holidays, and if you knew her well, she loved her Starbucks!

A celebration for her will be held later in October. Linda had a special place in her heart for the Special Olympics organization and St Jude, please consider donating on her behalf. We thank everyone that has loved, cared for, and supported Linda and our family these last few years, we are grateful to you all.
