Janice "Jan" Olson

She was born on July 13, 1957, in Columbus, Ohio, to Robert and Mary Lee Fiets.

Jan was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who treasured her family and the time she shared with them. She was devoted to her husband, John Olson, and took great pride in her children and grandchildren.

Jan enjoyed the many pleasures life had to offer. She loved quilting, working puzzles, playing cards, traveling, and especially cruising. She treasured the opportunity to explore new places, experience new adventures, and create lasting memories with her family and friends.

Jan spent her professional career working in bank operations. She was dedicated to her work and took pride in the career she built over the years.

Jan is survived by her beloved husband, John Olson; her daughter, Jennifer Olson; her son, John Scott Olson and his wife, Cindy; her grandchildren, Kalib Olson and Tristin Olson; and her brothers, Steven Fiets and his wife, Kathy, and Roger Fiets and his wife, Karen.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mary Lee Fiets.

Jan will be remembered for her love of family, her warmth, her enjoyment of life’s adventures, and the many special memories she created with those she loved. From quiet evenings working on a quilt or puzzle to travels and cruises shared with family, Jan found joy in the moments that brought people together.

She will be deeply missed by her husband, children, grandchildren, brothers, extended family, and friends. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
