He is survived by his devoted wife of 43 years, Sue Gilroy, brother Leo Gilroy, four children, nine grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Jim's life was marked by a profound commitment to his family and community. With over 40 years in the flooring industry, he became a respected figure known for his expertise and integrity. Beyond his professional endeavors, Jim's true passion lay in coaching soccer and softball, where he nurtured countless young talents and instilled values of teamwork and perseverance. His impact extended beyond the field as a dedicated Boy Scout leader, guiding and mentoring numerous boys on their journey to Eagle Scout, leaving an indelible mark on their lives.
