Sorry to hear that Greg passed away. I worked for him and Jackie at the kite store in Hull, Ma for a couple of years. He was a great guy and taught me a lot.  He will be missed by all who knew him.

Been thinking of him and Jackie lately and wondering how he was doing.  We would see each other and have shared breakfast time together at the Maryland Kite Society’s kitemaking retreat. This photo was from Feb of 2023. My thought, prayers, and condolences go out to Jackie.

I sold them their home here in the Villages and will never forget meeting Greg and Jackie  for the first time. As fate would have it the Kite Club was meeting at the Polo Fields that day and Greg shared his passion for Kites with me and stories of his and Jackie's work with Kids for Kites. I thank God that our lives intersected. What a kind, loving human being. Cynthia and I send our condolences to Jackie, the family and everyone whos life he touched. He will be missed.

My deepest sympathies to the family of Greg.
Greg was a true gentleman who would put a smile on everyone’s face.
He will be missed on the kite field.

Greg was a proud United States Navy veteran and served on a U.S. Navy “Swift Boat” while patrolling dangerous coastal waterways in Vietnam. He was honored to have mustered out of the Navy aboard the U.S.S. Constitution; our Nation’s oldest commissioned warship moored in the Charlston Navy Yard. Greg loved children and spoke often about being a role model with the Boston Aquarium and his kite program with Jackie, Kites for Kids. Greg was engineer minded, and loved to tinker with things and favored Ford trucks and old Mercury Cougars.
My favorite memory of Greg was when he took me to see the Red Sox at Fenway Park for the first time many years ago. I will always cherish those memories.

As a kid I asked thousands of questions while I got to sit on the fender and he worked on the car.
He once said to me I was capable of doing anything I truly wanted.
That one sentence gave me the freedom to imagine.
Years later he is sitting in a car I built with my own two hands.
We talked every day and I miss my cell phone saying message from Dad.
How’s the weather up there.
How’s our puppy ( Lucy )
How is my son.
I’m going to miss him.

Gregory, or better known to me as Grandpa Lamoureux, was always kind to me and I fondly remember his kite store and how much he loved showing me pictures of his elaborate kites. He had a big family and he always had a way of making each of us feel special. Most recently, I’ll remember the trip he brought us on to Bermuda and how he let me drive his electric scooter. I hope you rest in peace, grandpa L. You made an impact on so many lives. Love, Elizabeth

So very sorry to learn of Greg's passing. I knew him as a fellow volunteer at the New England Aquarium.  May he rest in peace.
My condolences to his wife  Jackie and his extended family.

Greg and I became friends while volunteering at the New England Aquarium in Boston. We spent many hours together conducting educational programs for visitors.  Greg had a quick wit and was always full of great stories.  His presentations were spot on, always recognizing the scope of his audiences, whether young children or old coots like us. Zoom helped a group of us stay in touch during and after Covid. 

I offer deepest condolences to Greg’s family and close friends. I’ll miss the photos of his wonderful kites and his interesting navy stories.

Greg was a good friend and neighbor. This pic was taken almost 2 years ago when we were invited to another good neighbors home,  Judy and Jim Stacy. My husband had lung cancer and not long after this pic was taken Greg volunteered to stay with my husband while I ran errands prior to my Alan’s demise. I believe they enjoyed each others company as they both loved American history and military memories.  I am forever grateful and he will be sadly missed. His uncanny comments were always a gas!  Between Jim, Alan and Greg there was a real male bonding.   May the skies forever be clear and the sea calm wherever you sail.

So So sorry for your loss Jackie, Kristen, Michael and family, 

Greg was always kind to me.  He always had something nice to say about either myself or my children.  

He is my former brother in law but when ever I saw him it was like seeing a long lost friend.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
