Douglas E. Dunn

He attended prestigious Culver Military School from 1952-54. After graduating from Onsted High School in 1955, he attended Wayne State where he received his degree in Mortuary Sciences in 1958.

Doug married the love of his life, Carole Demlow in March 1959, and also assumed control of the Dunn Funeral Home in Tecumseh, MI. until its sale in 1971.

In 1973, Doug added a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Eastern Michigan University, which propelled him into his career as an Auditor for the IRS until his retirement in 1995.

Doug and Carole relocated to the Villages the next year where they spent their days playing golf, cards, attending concerts, ballroom dancing, traveling and entertaining friends and family.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 57 years, Carole, and his parents. Doug is survived by his two daughters, Sandy Lewis (Greg) of Tecumseh, MI; Sherie Duttenhofer (Rick) of Jupiter, Fl; and son Bradley Dunn (Jennifer) of Redlands, Ca; 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

A summertime Memorial service will be held in Tecumseh MI since no local services are scheduled.

The family asks you to honor Doug and his love for Golf by tipping your cap on the 17th hole at Tierra Del Sol, where he had his last Hole-in One a few short months ago.
