Throughout her illustrious career, she embraced various roles including that of a special education teacher, librarian, administrator, and overseer of in-school suspension. Her commitment to nurturing young minds and making a difference in the lives of her students was evident in every endeavor she undertook.
Beyond her professional life, Donnie's interests and hobbies brought her joy and fulfillment. A passionate softball player, she also took on the role of a camera woman for TV 98 in the Hawthorne Community. She had a deep love for reading, art, and bingo—activities that allowed her to connect with others and share her vibrant personality. Donnie had an innate ability to make everyone around her smile, and her infectious laughter could light up any room.
Donnie is survived by her loving partner, Dan Fortunato, She was a dedicated mother to her daughter, Angelique Foster, and a proud grandmother to her two granddaughters, Amber Amorin and Cheyenne Benoit. Donnie was also a cherished sister to her brother, James Sullivan, and sister, Elle Parrish. Her former husband, Joe Lockeman, remains a part of her legacy as well.
