Born on January 23, 1944, Donna dedicated her life to learning, teaching, and giving back to her community. Their travels took them to every corner of the globe—from the Caribbean to Cape Horn, and from Australia to Iceland. Highlights included journeys through New Zealand, Russia, Norway, Sweden, Estonia, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Israel, Egypt, Holland, Ireland, England, Germany, Argentina, Chile, Canada, the United States, Alaska, Hawaii, and even Cuba.
Throughout her life, Donna was active in the First United Methodist Church, attending services in both Lake Denton (The Villages, Florida) and O’Fallon, Illinois.
She is lovingly survived by her husband, Michael Greer, and her two sons, André Luttrell and Alexander Luttrell. She is preceded in death by her parents, Vernon Thompson and Mary Mullins.
Donna’s remarkable strength and kindness, her curiosity about the world, her dedication to service, and her unwavering love for her family will long be remembered.
