She earned her Master of Education from Syracuse University. On July 24, 1976 she married Terry Stevenson.
She was avid reader, loved quilting and was an associate member of Kirkville Fire Co.
Denise was preceded in death by her mother, Marilee Jones; sister, Robin Albright; brother in law, Butch Albright; and many nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her husband, Terry; Son and daughter in law, Nathen Stevenson and Michelle Stevenson; Son, Jeffery Stevenson; Grandchildren- Drake Stevenson, Logan Stevenson and Arielle Stevenson.
