David A. Dunn

David Allan Dunn of Leesburg, FL passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at age 89. He was born on July 10, 1933 to Maurice and Emily (Thomsen) Dunn in Chicago, IL. He had one sibling, an older brother, Charles.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother. He is survived by his loving wife, Carol, devoted sons, Albert and Brian (Sarah), and cherished grandchildren, Mia and Evan.

David served 2 years in the army before he and Carol wed. They celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary in July 2022. He had such a loving heart that he and Carol adopted both Albert and Brian who are biological brothers. He worked as an electrician before retiring and moving to Florida with Carol.

He was a loving husband, family man and great provider. He took wonderful care of his family and was a true friend to many. He was always happy to lend a helping hand to whoever needed it. He brought joy and laughter to others. He will be lovingly remembered and missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
