Dan recently retired from Davis Trucking of Starke, Florida, after 13 years of loyal service. A loving family man, Dan is survived by his wife of 44 years, Rita Thomas, and their children: Teresa Thomas, Melissa Brooks, and John Brooks. He was a doting grandfather to Ashley (Kyle) Davis, Amber Mock, Elizabeth Long, and Macy Long, and a cherished great-grandfather to Haven Mock and Madeline Davis.
