Anthony Michael Cipriano

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Anthony Michael Cipriano, affectionately known as Tony, who left this world on July 5, 2026, at the age of 83. Born on April 23, 1943, in Brooklyn, New York, he found his home in Summerfield, Florida, where he filled the lives of those around him with love and joy.

Tony was a devoted husband, father, stepfather, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He wore many hats throughout his life, serving his country honorably in the U.S. Army Aviation, which laid the foundation for a life of service and commitment. With a remarkable 33 years at Picatinny Arsenal as a heavy-duty mobile equipment leader, Tony demonstrated unmatched dedication and work ethic. His career extended into roles as a police officer and Quality Control Manager at Winn Dixie, where he was known for his attention to detail and integrity.

A true man of God, Tony walked with Jesus in his heart every day, embodying the faith and compassion he shared with others. He was very involved with his church family and helped out in every way possible. He was actively involved in his community, dedicating time to volunteering at his church and participating in several organizations including the Young Men's Society of the Resurrection, DAV, NRA, and the American Legion.

Tony’s passions were many. He found joy in singing, playing the keyboard, and engaging with computers. He loved to challenge himself with sudoku and puzzles, and was renowned for his ability to fix just about anything, especially cars. His knack for treasure-hunting at rummage sales brought him happiness, but nothing compared to the joy he found in spending quality time with family and friends.

He is survived by his cherished wife, Ann Marie Cipriano; his beloved daughters, Michele and Cheryl-Anne Cipriano( his future son-in-law, David Pedersen); and stepchildren Jennifer, Brian, and Loren. Tony is also remembered by his sisters, Lillian Drollinger and Felicia McMahon; his seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews who will carry his memory in their hearts.

He was preceded in death by his first love and wife, Patricia Ann Cipriano; his brothers, Vito and George Cipriano; and his parents, Gaetano and Theresa Cipriano.

A service to celebrate Tony's life will be held at a later date, providing an opportunity for family and friends to gather in remembrance of a remarkable man. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that gifts be made in Anthony's name to DPD-Finnegan House for his daughter Michele Cipriano, and any monetary gifts can be directed to his wife, Ann Marie Cipriano.

Tony will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the countless lives he touched.
