
Myrna was a woman of faith who was proud to have become a Christian at the age of 22. Her faith was an important part of her life and a source of strength throughout the years.
Myrna was also a woman who valued hard work, determination, and learning. She earned her GED and went on to complete a two-year college course in just one year—an accomplishment that reflected her intelligence, perseverance, and dedication. Throughout her working life, she held a variety of positions, including working for Winn-Dixie, owning her own shrimp business, and spending many years working for Erdman Publishing.
Those who knew Myrna will remember her love of baking, especially her homemade pies and cookies, which brought sweetness and joy to those around her. She will be remembered for her strong spirit, her accomplishments, her faith, and the love she shared with her family.
Myrna is survived by her two sons, James Householder and Tim Householder; her grandchildren, Jennifer, Myrna, and Joseph; her great-grandchildren, Alley and Jacob; and her great-granddaughter, Janey.
Funeral services will be held at World of Life Church in North Port, Florida, on Monday, August 31, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Cemetery in Fort Myers, Florida.
Myrna will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
