Born and raised in Bradenton and Palmetto, Drew loved being near the water whether it was the beach or the creek in Arcadia. Over the years, he worked in a variety of restaurants - he was an excellent salesman, a trait he inherited from his father, Andrew Glendening (1955-2003).
Drew was funny, mischievous, loyal, and soulful. He loved listening to music. He loved kids and his family, he was a caring friend, and was a lifetime Gators fan. He could do expert handstands on the beach and loved to give backrubs. He felt deeply and loved generously.
He is survived by his mother Janet Glendening, his sisters Kathleen (Katie) Alexander and Sarah Glendening, as well as his nephew Caden and three nieces Ansley, Wendy, and Dinah. He was devoted to his long time friend Jessica Hindson who, with her adorable children, kept him on his toes.
There will be a celebration of life on Sunday, August 17, 3-6pm at Palma Sola Botanical Park in Bradenton
