She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, Rolf L. Hopkins. She is survived by daughters Claudia Hopkins, Christine Moler and her husband Jeff Moler and two grandsons, Garrett Moler, Colton Moler and his wife Ariel.
She was born in St. Paul, MN on July 24, 1928 where she spent a large part of her life before moving to Sarasota in 1973.
She was a successful business woman owning clothing stores in MN before becoming the owner/landlord of commercial real estate in Sarasota.
She will be buried at the Sarasota National Cemetery with her husband Rolf. Services will be private.
