Linda Sue Carson

Linda was born on October 30, 1940, in Marion, Indiana, to Herbert and Flossie Barnett. They and her sister, Janet Hudelson, as well as Janet’s husband, Robert, preceded Linda in death.

Linda was a devoted spouse, parent, grandparent, and great-grandparent. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, William Andrew Carson, Venice; son James Michael, Venice, and daughter Julie Ann, Fort Myers, Florida; grandchildren Kristofer Michael, Spring Hill, Florida; Lynsi Jane, Greentown, Indiana, and Rebekka Ann (Julian Vicent), Greentown; great-grandchildren Jace Michael, Jadin Joe, and Kashus Santino, all of Greentown; and beloved cat Alex, Venice.

Linda and Bill and their family called Marion, Indiana, home. They also split their time for 40-plus years between Marion and Leesburg, Indiana, first enjoying summers and eventually year-round fun on Lake Tippecanoe. For the last 22 years, they have resided in Venice, Florida.

Linda enjoyed spending time in the kitchen perfecting many a family recipe. And she cherished spending quality time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

There will be no memorial service.
