Later in life, even when he was unable to physically play the game, he enjoyed administrating the golf league for his church, First Baptist Venice. Larry was a Syracuse University graduate and a devoted fan of Syracuse Basketball and Football. He was part of the coaching staff for the 1985 Empire Football League Champion Syracuse Express, a minor league football team in Syracuse, NY. He was an entrepreneur of sorts, running his own business as a manufacturer’s sales representative, serving Dollar Stores in New York. Larry was known for his extreme loyalty, both as a friend, businessman, and neighbor. He loved chocolate, mostly dark chocolate and peanut M&Ms. Larry was baptized on May 29, 2016, identified as a messianic Jew, and was a beloved member of First Baptist Venice Church where he served as a Deacon. His faith was a significant part of his life in his later years, and he looked forward to being reunited with his wife, Brenda, and spending eternity with the Lord.
