Katherine June Goad, age 90, passed away after a fall in her home, on January 22, 2022. She moved to Florida in the early 1980's , eventually settling in the Bradenton area. As a member of Kirkwood Presbyterian Church, she enjoyed being a greeter and giving out bulletins. Katherine, known by her friends as "Kitty" was born in Roanoke, Virginia on September 18, 1931 where her three surviving children: Ray E. Owens Jr., Kathy Owens Otey (Danny), and Fred Owens (Melissa) currently live.
