Joseph Patrick, Jr.

Joe was born in Philipsburg, PA, on December 28, 1936, the son of the late Joseph, Sr. and Dorothy E. (Johnson) Patrick, of Osceola Mills, PA. He is survived by sister, Shirley Gillen of Ramey, PA, and brothers, Gerald (Patricia) of Grampian, PA and James (Theresa) of Osceola Mills, PA.

Joe attended Williamsport Technical Institute, Williamsport, PA, where he studied mechanical drafting and design. He worked for Corning, Incorporated for 30 years as a supervisor in the Research and Development facility in Sullivan Park and retired in 1993 from their Experimental Melting Department.

Joe married Sally (Foley) Patrick (deceased), Beaver Dams, NY and raised four children:

Joe married Dorothy (Walters) Patrick (deceased) and his step children:

Charles Walters, Jr. and Kathleen, of Springfield, VA

Frank Walters and Meredith, of Wellington, FL

Julie (Walters) and Brian Maneen, Rome, NY and eight grandchildren

Joe will be remembered as a kind, soft spoken, social guy who loved boating, fishing, cards, and being with family and friends, a Pittsburgh sports fan and a caregiver for several loved ones through their illnesses.
