Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Mildred; niece, Sally Cheney (James) of Lookout Mountain, GA and nephew, Bruce Bott (Gale) of Flanders, NJ.
John worked for Jersey Central Power and Light for 34 years, retiring in 1979. He was a Charter Member of the Sahib Temple of Sarasota and a member in good standing as a Mason.
Services will be private. Arrangements under the direction of National Cremation & Burial Society, Sarasota.
