

Mr. Chartier is survived by his loving family, wife Marti, daughter Kathryn (Jim Cotter), son Jeff, and three grandsons.
Jack graduated from The Hill School, Pottstown, PA and the University of Illinois with a B.S. in Civil Engineering, and he was a Licensed Professional Engineer. He was employed as a bridge and highway designer at Gannett, Fleming Engineers, Harrisburg, PA. He formed Fairway Developers, Inc. which is responsible for the design and construction of over 190 single family homes in Shepherd Hills, Wescosville, PA. He also developed Emerald Lakes in the Pocono Mountains (a vacation home community), a downtown commercial area in Easton, PA including a McDonald’s restaurant, a mini shopping mall, a movie theater, and a Sheraton Inn. He owned and operated the Sheraton Inn for a period of ten years.
In 1985 Jack moved to Sarasota, FL and from 1989 to 2000 was a licensed Real Estate broker who owned and operated Chartier Real Estate, Inc.
Jack also served in the U.S. Navy and was a veteran of WWII.
Services will be at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
