

Garret grew up in Mott, ND and was a veteran of the USAF and an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping in North and South Dakota. He enjoyed spending time with his family and three grandchildren in Florida. Garret had a successful career in the appliance business - most notably with General Electric for 14 years and later marketing and sales for Montana Dakota Utility for 21 years. Retiring from MDU in 2012, he and his wife LaDonna moved to Venice, Florida. He was loved dearly and will be missed by many.
Garret was proceeded in death by his parents William and Edith Forsch and is survived by wife LaDonna Forsch of Venice, FL, son and daughter-in-law Chad (Kimberly) Forsch of Venice, FL and three grandchildren Nicholas, Ruby, and Zachary Forsch, brother and sister-in-law Roger (Rosemary) Forsch of Pierre, SD, two nephews Kevin (Carroll) Forsch and family of Pierre, SD and Tim (Catherine) Forsch and family of Sioux Falls, SD, and niece Kim (Steve) Erickson and family of Concord, NH. As well as the special love and friendship of cousin Darryl (Kathy) Hummel, Fargo, ND, and friend Bill Hutter, Park Rapids, MN.
Services will be Saturday, August 31 at 11am EST at Venice-Nokomis Elks Lodge, 1021 Discovery Way, Nokomis, FL.
