Frank Sorrentino

Frank Sorrentino, lovingly known as “Frank-O,” passed away peacefully in his sleep on October 4, 2025, at his home in Sarasota, Florida. Frank was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, and built a loving family in Gurnee, Illinois.

Frank was the devoted husband of Linda; proud father of Gina and Stephanie (Trent); and adored grandfather of Angelina and Adriana. He was the beloved son of the late AnnaMarie and Frank Sorrentino and beloved son in law of the late Barbara and Ken Gordon. Frank is survived by his siblings Mariann (Matt), Grace, Tony (Agnes) and now joins his brother Tom in eternal rest. He was a fun Uncle to many nieces and nephews as well as great brother-in-law to many.

A hardworking man with a kind heart and a quick wit, Frank could make anyone laugh and feel at home. He loved a good cocktail, Cubs/Bears game, and listening to music. Frank was a father figure to many, always ready with guidance, a listening ear, and a steady hand for those who looked to him for support.

Though there will be no formal services, the family will hold a celebration of life in the coming months to honor Frank’s memory and the joy he brought to so many.

Frank’s humor, warmth, and easygoing spirit will be deeply missed but forever remembered by those who loved him. The family extends heartfelt thanks to all who have shared their love, support, and memories during this time. Frank's legacy will reach far beyond his lifetime.
