Emily Nicole Hasse

Emily was born on January 28, 2001 in Traverse City, Michigan to her devoted parents, Andrew and Tacey Hasse.

She will be lovingly remembered by her parents and her brother, Nick Tafelsky of Garner, North Carolina.

Emily is the cherished granddaughter of Gordon and Suzanne Cornwell, Linda Hasse and Deloris Hasse all of Traverse City. She was blessed with loving Aunts and Uncles including Great Great Aunt Geneva Wiskemann, Sarah and Charlie Hubbell, Wes and Sheri Cornwell, Lorie Johnson, Alisa and Jim Gallo

and honorary Aunts, Julie Bennington and Amy VanHorn. She will be missed by cousins Addy Chase, Andrew, Tyler, Hailey, Ray, Alexis and Payton and many extended family members, friends, caregivers, nurses and therapists.

Emily is now surrounded by those who loved her and left this world before her, including Grandpa Ray Hasse, Grandma - Great Josephine Hasse, Great Grandparents Fred and Bette Kruger and Great grandparents Gordon and Jean Cornwell.

She is surely entertaining others with whom she was reunited in Heaven including Uncle Alan Johnson, Great Aunt Fran Stoner, Great Great Aunt Helen Nesky, Great Great Uncle George Wiskemann, friend Kody Kotimko and meeting many new friends.

Emily was born and lived in Traverse City and attended Cherry Knoll Elementary School. The family relocated in 2007, where she attended South Anna Elementary School in Montpelier, Virginia. As her

brother embarked on his college journey, the family relocated again to Pennsylvania, where Emily attended New Story School in Wyomissing, graduating in 2022.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on April 12, 2025 at Christ Community Church, 442 W. 7th Street, Traverse City, Michigan, 49684.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to purchase a memorial brick with Emily's name at Give Kids the World Village in Florida. You may give to any family member or mail.
