Elaine was a true Floridian who knew that it was too cold to live anywhere north of Orlando. She grew up and lived most of her life in Miami before retiring to Englewood. She enjoyed playing tennis, nurturing native plants, and looking for shells at the beach.
Elaine valued family and friendships that formed throughout her life, including many established in elementary school and at Edison High School. She was particularly blessed with wonderful neighbors and local friends in Englewood. A Lutheran her whole life, Elaine cherished the 23 years that she spent as a member of Prince of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Englewood.
A memorial service will be held at Prince of Peace on October 4, at 2 p.m.
