Peter Joseph Kauffman

Peter Joseph Kauffman, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend suddenly passed away on May 14th, 2024, in San Antonio, TX. Peter was born on November 2nd, 1957, to James L Kauffman and Patricia Mayer Kauffman.

Peter stepped into his role as a father during his stepchildren's school-age years. He made them his priority and cherished every moment spent with them. He was always there to offer his love, support, and encouragement. In addition to his children, Peter was greatly interested in reading books and listening to his favorite music. Within the last year, he relocated to San Antonio, Texas to be closer to his children, and enjoyed working outdoors, nurturing trees and plants. He dedicated much of his time to listening and giving to others when in need.

Those left to cherish his memories are his four siblings: Christopher (wife Laura) Kauffman, Claire Craven, Daniel (wife Janella) Kauffman, Clark (wife Janice) Kauffman,; four children: Vanessa Knox, Audrey (husband Jesse) Castoreno, Sonny (wife Crystal) Knox, Alex (wife Jamie) Knox; Nine grandchildren: Brian, Jadence, Alex Giovanni, Ethan, Abrahm, Aden, Kendall, Adaline, and Jaxon. He was preceded in death by his parents.
