Andy was born June 7, 1957 in San Antonio, the son of Ninfa (Luna) and Alfredo G. Gonzalez. He was raised in San Antonio and would often reminisce about riding his horse, fishing and hunting as a young child. Fishing and hunting remained a lifelong pleasure. He also enjoyed traveling, and spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Olga S. Gonzalez and a son, Alfredo Andres (Andrew) Gonzalez, II.
Survivors include his wife, Kaylene M. Gonzalez; children, Adam Joshua Gonzalez, Alejandria Morales and her husband Javier, Cielanda Gonzales and her husband Ismael, Christine Zygmont and her husband Bryan, Victoria Martinez and her husband Eric; step son, Justin and Traci Olivares and a step daughter Tracy Olivares; grandchildren, Cadence and Caroline Zygmont, Ariana Andres and Kaylah Martinez, Elijah Anthony Gonzales, Amorina Morales; and two step granddaughters, Sarah M. Olivares and Madison Fisk.
