She was born May 21, 1936, in Kingsport, Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Junior Givens.
She is survived by her children, Roger (Cindy) Givens, Phyllis (Barry) Dearden, and Patricia (Ken) Grimani; her siblings, Jimmy (Amelia) Short and Edith Lambert; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 2, at First Baptist Church Riverview. Visitation will be from 10-11am, with the service beginning at 11am.
