

Marc was born in Blytheville, Arkansas, and built a life centered on family, faith, and meaningful connections. He attended Arkansas State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management.
He was co-owner of Jack Keef Ford Lincoln Mercury in Crete, Nebraska. After the dealership was sold, Marc continued his career in automotive sales with Sid Dillon in Lincoln, Nebraska, where he worked until a car accident prevented him from continuing in the profession he loved.
Marc had a love for music from a young age. In high school, he was part of a rock band and performed “I Got a Line on You Babe,” winning first place in a Battle of the Bands competition. He was also an avid track runner and competed at the state AAA track meet, where he placed fourth in the 180-yard low hurdles.
Marc enjoyed collecting coins and had a strong interest in vehicles. Prior to his accident, he was an avid golfer who found great joy spending time on the course.
He was proud to have earned the distinction of Eagle Scout, reflecting his character, dedication, and values. A man of faith, Marc was a Christian whose life was guided by his beliefs.
Marc is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie Gardner; his children, Matt and Lauren; his stepson, Charles Dowd; and his brother, Robbi Gardner.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Jerry Gardner, and his brother, Mac Gardner.
Marc will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
