Gary L Little

Gary L. Little of Riverview, Florida passed away peacefully July 13, 2024. He was 76 years old. Gary was born in Battle Creek, Michigan to Leonard (Bud) and Virginia Little. He graduated from Battle Creek Central High School. After graduation, he proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Gary pursued a career in law enforcement and retired after 23 years of dedicated service from the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Department. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, Sandy, his family, going out for breakfast and dinners, restoring and wrenching on cars, wood working, hunting, fishing, and watching movies among many other things.

Gary is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Sandra Little; his son Michael (Danica) Little, Daughter Ann-Marie Little; Stepson Kirk (Melissa) Diebold, Stepdaughter Kelly (Michael) McElwain; Grandchildren, Zach, Kaden, Madison, and Addison; Sister, Judy (Glenn) Ludke, and many other family members including nieces, nephews, and cousins. Gary was preceded in death by his loving parents Leonard and Virginia Little.

A visitation and celebration of life will be held by Gary’s family Monday, July 22, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at National Cremation & Burial Society Ruskin, 308 East College Avenue, Ruskin, Florida 33570. Following the visitation will be a committal service with Military Honors from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Ruskin Memorial Park, 204 Manatee Drive, Ruskin, Florida 33570.
