Claire Anne Guillot

Claire Anne Guillot, 81, of Sun City Center, Florida, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2026. Born on February 1, 1945, in Putnam, Connecticut, she was the daughter of Andre and Anita Dumas. Claire graduated from Putnam Catholic Academy and attended Annhurst College, graduating from Quinebaug Valley Community College. She balanced a career in accounting with caring for her family.

Claire was an avid reader whose lifelong love of books and learning inspired her active support of local libraries. She will be remembered as strong willed, kind, and devoted to the people she loved. Her joyful laugh and warm smile lifted those around her, and she quietly served others, always striving to leave the world a little better than she found it.

Claire was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years, Edmond P. Guillot; her children, Laura (Tim) Weber and Randolph Guillot; her siblings, Jeanne Ewing, Richard Dumas, and Ronald Dumas; and many extended family members and dear friends who will cherish her memory.
