I carry so many lifelong memories of Cathy and her dad, Winfield Baptist Church's lifetime candy and gum supplier.  Jerry was there from the earliest times I remember at church.  After we got older and were lucky enough to drive to school or have a friend who drove, we learned the fun of going to Cathy's yard.  We wore that trampoline out.  I think she was the only one who had one.  After high school, I always got a report on Cathy every Sunday.   Will now miss them both.  If I were to make a guess about Cathy, it would be that she is still wearing her Tennessee  Orange and that unforgettable smile.

Cathy was a very sweet lady and I am so sorry for your loss Robin. She was a very special person. She will be missed.

With a sorrowful heart, yet with blessed assurance, I extend my prayers to Robin, and to all of Cathy’s family and friends who are grieving her departure into the presence of the Lord.

I first met Cathy nineteen years ago at the former Potters House International in Tampa, and from that moment, it was evident that she was truly one of a kind. I say this with all sincerity: there will never be another Cathy. She was a faithful friend, a woman who loved God deeply, and one who continually placed others before herself. She carried a rare grace about her; the kind that could lift a heavy heart, turn mourning into laughter, and bring light into life’s deepest and darkest moments.

I will always treasure what Cathy taught me about the Word of God: when you read the Bible, read a few verses, then pause. Keep a pen and paper nearby, and ask God to reveal what He desires for you to understand. That simple, powerful wisdom has helped me tremendously in my walk with God. Through her guidance, I began to understand more deeply who the great “I AM” is.

My heart is broken, yet it also rejoices, knowing that Cathy is no longer in pain, but is at peace in Heaven, in the presence of the One she loved so dearly.

Sister Cathy, rest in the peace of Christ. Your life was a beautiful testimony, and your memory will remain in our hearts always.

Peace, be still….

Cathy was always a funny older cousin 'cuz' that I had some time to hang out with growing up in Oneida. Although we lost touch over the growing older years, I loved our periodic Facebook updates and was happy to know that she was living in the Tampa area with a loving partner rolling through the good and challenging times of life.  Robin, thank you for loving and supporting her. I I pray you have peace, comfort, and good days ahead while remembering the good times. 

I can only imagine that Cathy is now part of a glorious band of Angels and those drums are tapping  to a fabulous beat. ❤️🌈

Im so sorry to hear of Cathy's passing.  Sending Prayers.

Cathy was so funny. I remember her being the most fierce drummer ever!!  I remember her talking to me about teaching children with special needs. I remember her playing the roll of Lazarus  and she really tied herself up and and made pastor do a double take. Every one laughed. She played Gomer and kept throwing baby dolls. When she ran out of babies- she had a stuffed puppy and pastor did not know what to say.  She was the coolest bible school teacher. She always had a joke and a quick comeback. I will miss her.

I'm saddened by the great loss of such a wonderful friend, and wonderful woman. We played softball together in younger years. Cathy hit it over the fence every time! We enjoyed church together and I loved her playing drums in church. We will all miss her smile and sense of humor. She definitely brought a room to life. My heart breaks for Robin having lost her wife. Prayers and much love for you Robin. We love and miss you Cathy. See you again soon.
