

Anne Edell was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on January 1, 1952. She grew up there.
She was the daughter of Shirley and Irwin Edell. Her grandparents were Morris and Marie Zwerin.
Anne graduated from Woodward High School and received a degree in Business Education from University of Cincinnati. Ann then taught at the Hickey School of Business for several years in Saint Louis, Missouri. She worked as an administrative Assistant for General Electric for 14 years. Subsequently she held a similar position for Ford Motor Company. Anne accepted a relocation offer to Chicago. She accepted a buyout offer from Ford and then went back to teaching for the next several years. Anne also did all the bookkeeping and accounting for her husband Craig's enterprise and did so until her illness progressed. Anne had a tremendous work ethic which she instilled in her children Lee and Daniel.
In the past 5 years Anne and Craig lived in Wimauma, Florida where they enjoyed their new ranch home.
Anne dealt with Parkinson's Disease for the past several years but always had a big and caring heart, a tremendous love for everyone, and was totally selfless.
She is survived by her husband Craig after almost 50 years of marriage and her loving sons Lee and Daniel Serota.
Anne had a very close relationship with her sister Roz who passed in 2005. Her loving nieces, Michelle and Jenna, her nephew Michael and brother Donald. All came in from out of town to care for her to the end of her life.
A Committal Service will be held at Serenity Meadows Memorial Park, Funeral Home & Crematory, 6919 Providence Rd, Riverview, FL 33578, US, on March 26, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
A Shiva will be held on Sunday, March 29, 2026at 6:00 pm at the home of Craig Serota. The address is 16461 Little Garden Dr. Wimauma, Fl 33598. All are welcome.
Charitable donations can be made in Anne's honor to Parkinson's Research.
