Christy Cecile Pichon

Pichon, Christy (Boucree), age 62, formerly of New Orleans, LA and currently a resident of Los Angeles, CA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 24, 2021. She was a graduate of McDonough 35 High School in New Orleans. She retired from the National Finance Center in October 2019 after 27 years of dedicated service. She was also a faithful and devoted member of The Institute of Divine Metaphysical Research, believing in the preaching and teaching of the ministry until her final breath. To know Christy was to love her. Anyone who came into her presence felt her magnetic energy. She made it a point to shower her coworkers with Christmas presents each year, she covered her children and grandchildren with love, and she truly enjoyed spending time with her husband who is truly her very best friend. She is preceded in death by her parents Lloyd Boucree and Marlene Boucree, parents-in-law Rudolph J Pichon Sr and Elaine Pichon. She is survived by her beloved husband of 44 years, Rudolph Pichon Jr, two daughters which she adored; Ceane Pichon and Tara (Jarvis) Flugence. She was the world’s best Mimi to 6 grandchildren; Tristen, Tyler, Tamia, Trace, Gabrielle, and Michael. She is also survived by her big sister, Deirdre (Wayne) Staes, and special niece, April Staes, as well as her step-mother Dolores Boucree. She leaves behind a host of aunt, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, family, friends, and brethren. Memorial Services will be announced at a later date. The family would like to extend a special word of gratitude to the medical office of Dr. Seni in Los Angeles, CA, Good Samaritan Hospital, VITAS Hospice, and the Staes and Farley families. For all of your acts of love and kindness through this difficult time, there are not enough words to express our thanks.
