He was born May 28, 1947 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was the son of Leonard and Monica (Higgins) Kujawa. He enlisted in the US Navy in 1967 and retired as Chief in Data Processing in 1988. He was actively involved in the VFW and enjoyed hunting, fishing and being at the cabin.
He is preceded in death by his parents Leonard and Monica (Higgins) Kujawa, in-laws Norman and Harriet (Heidecorn) Goldman and sister-in-law Sharron (Wincek) Kujawa. He is survived by his loving wife Peri (Goldman) Kujawa of 43 years, son Tod Kujawa, daughter Shannon (Kujawa) and son-in-law Ryan Tweet, granddaughter Hayden Schmidt, brother Charles Kujawa, sister Virginia Kujawa and many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.
We would like to extend our gratitude to all the medical providers that helped him to fight his rare condition. Interment will be at Fort Snelling. All are welcome to a celebration of life that will be held at VFW 9625 in Coon Rapids, November 2nd, 2025 from 12p-4p. Arrangements by National Cremation Society. Memorials preferred to VEXAS.org.
